1997-2016 Zachary M. “Zac” DiLuzio, 19, of Ridley Park passed away far too young from this world on July 12, 2016, joining his late maternal great-grandfather, Bernard Brustman (Ben) and his late aunts, Anne Ware and Lori DiLuzio. Zac’s gifts were numerous, including his love of music, math, science, writing, his innate ability to reason theories and facts with all, and being an extraordinarily gifted and selfless person. Those who were fortunate enough to know him will remember his infectious smile that could light up a room and make anyone feel comfortable, his laugh, how considerate and loving he was, and how he always wanted to help others and put their needs before his own. He will be remembered fondly by his teachers and friends from the Ridley School district, where he excelled in every grade at Leedom, Grace Park, Ridley Middle School and Ridley High School. Those who were closest to Zac will remember his close relationship with his Mom, who he reminded often, “Mom, you know I don’t like it when you cry”, with that tilt of his head, and half smile. We honor your memories Zac in our hearts forever. Survivors: loving son of Sara Ware DiLuzio and Anthony M. DiLuzio, Jr.; adored brother of Nick DeMarco (Liz), Lia, Dean, and Ben DiLuzio; also survived and cherished by his maternal great-grandmother, Evelyn Brustman; his maternal grandmother, Sandra Ware; his paternal grandmother, Judith Kelso DiLuzio; his aunt, Julie Ware Osmundsen (Gary); his uncles, Mark Ware (Shirley) and Doug Ware; and his extended family members and many friends. Zac's memorial card popped up in my drawer the other day. I love those gifts of remembrance. His legacy lives on in each of us. I missed the walk last October. I hope to be there this year.

My dearest Zac, where do I even begin? You have been the apple of my eye from the moment you entered this world on 6/23/97! You have always brought so much happiness to my life, I've always been so proud of you for so many reasons! One being how independent, studious, and diligent you always were with your studies. If Mommy had 1/2 the brain you had I wouldn't be struggling living paycheck to paycheck. Another is you've always been the best big brother & father figure to Lia, Dean & Benny. They've always admired & looked up to you! I will forever miss hearing your voice, your hugs, the feel of your skin & holding your hands. I feel like I'm in some aweful nightmare! I love you more than words could ever express! I hope you know I forgive you and I hope you forgive me for any short comings I might've had as your mom. So sorry for ur loss .....my Daughter Miranda told me alot about Zac n how smart n bright he was and how excellent he did in school ....she said he was a very nice kid ....i think i remember Zacs mom from gracepark...but its been awhile...again so sorry for your loss ...so young ..so sad...so innocent ..another life taken way to soon ...may he RIP

Zac was a great friend who really had a big heart. Every time I would seem down Zac would stop whatever he was doing just to make sure I was alright. We would argue with Eachother about whose smile was better and zac would always easily win everytime. He really will be missed! Prayers go out to his family!
