DELAWARE — Nancy F. DeTray, 78, of Delaware, died Friday, Feb. 6, 2015 in Willow Brook at Delaware Run peacefully surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born March 16, 1936 in Crown City to Therl and Belva (Fillinger) Jones.
She was a homemaker and secretary treasurer of Delaware Plumbing and Piping from 1968 to 1988. She was a member of the Delaware Bible Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Debbi (Mark) Drum of Delaware, Becky (Frank) Book of Ostrander, Lisa DeTray of Dublin; son-in-law, Rob Smith of Delaware; a son, Gregory (Terri) Ufferman of Quakertown, Pa.; two stepsons, Clarence Lee (Kay) Detray and Lynn (Denise) DeTray, both of Oak Harbor; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence in 2007; a sister, Jo Ann Strohl; and by a brother, Donald Jones.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9, 2015, at the Robinson Funeral Home, 32 W. Winter St., Delaware, where services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Marvin Hintz officiating. Burial will follow in Oller Cemetery.
