Walter Liddle Obituary
He was born Nov. 12, 1938, in Akron to Clyde and Mattie (Cox) Liddle. He graduated from Revere High School in Akron and the Columbia State University. He was an Ohio State Highway Patrolman for 26 years and retired as a lieutenant and was associated with Drivers Inc. for seven years. He was a member of Hiram Masonic Lodge and the Ohio State Highway Patrolmen Retiree's Association.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carol, two daughters, Shelley Liddle of Lakeland, Fla., Rhonda (Erik) Albert of Oak Bluffs, Mass., a son, Kurt (Bridget) of Galena, six grandchildren, Bryce, Iris, Miles, Brayden, Zachary and Kylie, a brother, Dan (Katherine) of Akron and a sister in law, Barbara Liddle of Kimbolton.
He was preceded in death by a son, Kevin, and a brother, Burton.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Robinson Funeral Home where a Masonic service will be held at 7 p.m. The funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Patricia Stout officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice. Condolences may be expressed at www.robinsonfuneralhomeinc.com.

Hard to believe it has been 6 years since Buddys death! So wonderful that we have so many great memories of our grade school and high school years hope you and family are doing fine and sure you have wonderful memories of your own. That is what keeps you going!

Carol, we are very sad to hear about Walt. He was a great friend to both Carol and I. I will miss the e-mails and his wonderful since of humor. We have a lot of great memories, from the time my Dad met Walt as a young trooper at the Delaware Post, my working with him at GHQ and after. He was always there for me and my family.

Carol and family, I am so sorry to hear of Buddy's death and lift you all up in our prayers. I have such good memories of Buddy and our school years together going back to 5th grade!
