ALEXIS MULFORD Obituary
SEAFORD — Alexis "Brielle" Mulford, 16, of Seaford, went to be with her mother on Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011.
Brielle was an 11th-grade honor student at Sussex Technical High School in Georgetown. She enjoyed carpentry work and was a member of the Spanish Honor Society. Prior to Sussex Tech, she went to Seaford Middle School and Worcester Preparatory School. Brielle was full of life and loved by many friends. She loved her job at Seaford Pizza King.
Her mother, Ellen Sue Fields Mulford, died in 2007. She is survived by her father, Nils C. Mulford; a brother, Skyler Mulford; her paternal grandmother, Ruth Mulford; her maternal grandmother, Ann Fields; and many aunts and uncles, Kristi and James King, Eph and Donna Mulford, Siri Mulford, Hans and Marcy Mulford, Lars and Michele Mulford, Kari and John Thompson, Sharon Mulford Esterson, Pam Passwaters and Joann Fields; and many cousins, JL and David King, Kelsey Mulford, Erik and Ethan Mulford, Kathryn and Rachel Mulford, Erica, Johnny and Caroline Thompson.
Memorial Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Laurel Wesleyan Church, 30186 Seaford Road in Laurel. Friends may call at Cranston Funeral Home, 300 Shipley St., Seaford, on Friday from 5-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, Suite 205, New Castle, Del. 19720.
To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

I still can't believe that your really gone. It;s like yesterday when we were sitting next to each other in precalc and algebra last year, just laughing about stupid stuff and not paying attention. I miss you Brielle, and its so hard to believe that your really gone, but i know your with your mom now and your even happier than you were here. I know that your not here physically, but you are still here with each and every one of us. Your smile and laugh and how you always made someone happy will never be forgotten. <3 You made a huge impact on my life, you taught me how to be strong and smile through everything because thats how you were. I can't believe your gone, it feels like yesterday that we were in 9th grade gym class sitting behind a big pile of dirt throwing rocks for the heck of it and always complaining to each other how much we hated gym. Or the last day of gym when you had your checkers board you made in carpentry and we all sat there and smelt it haha. Then this year we got close again and had lunch together and complain how nasty the food is or you an heather having your conversations. Brielle, you are truly missed by everyone and it's never going to be the same without you. You've made an impact on my life and many others. You were always positive and I never saw you upset because you were such a strong girl and I respect you so much for that. My prayers go out to the Mulford family. <3

brielle it still feels like you are here. i didn't have any classes with you this year but last year we had math together & when i wasn't in a good mood you changed that. your smile, your energy, your determination to be the best that's something that i still carry and thanks for being there for me. you will never be forgotten & will always be missed. i miss you brielle. I remember seeing this cheerful, lovely face when I was in Pizza King last month on a visit to Delaware. My heart goes out to her dear family. I am sorry for the loss of the Mulford family. I cannot even imagine the pain your family is going through. Brielle was a good and nice person, i loved having social studies with her in 10th she was the best. Being here in the world with her family would be the best thing ever! Those of us at Worcester Prep are all so saddened by Brielle's tragic passing. I taught her for social studies in first grade and remember her as such a sweet and caring young lady. We lost our son in October at the young age of 24. My heart breaks for the family. No words can make it right but they are in a better place than we are. They are happy and whole and God has a higher purpose for them. May you find some comfort in the arms and words of famiy, friends and strangers alike. I had the privilege of working with Brielle, when she was a 5th grader at WPS. She was a wonderful person! When I heard of this tragedy, I was deeply shaken. As a D.A.R.E. Officer, I work with hundreds of different kids each year,,,,I specifically remembered Brielle, as a kind, well-behaved student, wonderful young lady. My thoughts go out to all that knew and loved her. These tragedies will never be understood....Life is very fragile, and unpredictable. I knew Brielle since 7th grade. I met her in my honors L.A. class and she was a pretty cool girl. In 8th grade i was fortunate enough to be locker mates with her. And she also was a cheerleader while i was playing football for seaford middle and she always had a smile on her face(: She was definetly a great person to know and I wish I got to know her a little bit more. Sadly she went to tech and i didn't get a chance to see her anymore. She was a very beautiful girl, and I'm going to miss her ): I will never forget you. About 80 people from the seaford high school, including me dressed up in pink for her memory. I put a big sign up for you Brielle and everybody comes to pay their respects at the sight.
