Christopher Hollis Obituary
Ocean Pines-Christopher Eric Hollis of Ocean Pines, MD was called home to be with the Lord peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, April 22, 2017.
He was born in Alexandria, Virginia on April 19, 1975. Chris graduated from Annandale HS in 1993 and in 1999 received a degree in Hospitality Management from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. Most of his career was spent in the hospitality industry in NC, NYC & Washington, DC. with a brief foray in the golf industry in Myrtle Beach, SC and an attempt to establish an organic farm with a long-time friend. In recent years, he worked in a newly acquired trade as a glazier thanks to one of his favorite golf buddies. He loved working with his hands and was happy to escape the nights and weekend of his previous jobs. His main loves were his daughter Peyton, golf and anything outside enjoying God's creation.
Chris is survived by his daughter, Peyton Grace Hollis, parents, Charles and Dianne Hollis, brother, Chip Hollis & his wife, Jana Beckman Hollis, sister: Jennifer Hollis Nereu & Husband, Derek Nereu, nephews: Beckman Hollis, Cort Hollis & Drake Nereu and niece, Madison Nereu as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many loving friends.
Memorial Services will be held on Monday, May 8, 2017 at Ocean City Baptist Church, 102 N. Division Street, Ocean City, MD, with family visitation from 10-11am and celebration of life at 11:00 followed by a reception in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Ocean City Baptist Church Missions Ministry.

It is with great sorrow that I like this candle, unimaginable the loss that you all are feeling. Chris was always so warm and friendly when I saw him and our mutual love of golf was something he openly shared. May your days ahead be soothed with your memories and the love you shared and may Peyton bring you joy as he lives on through her. My sincere condolences to all. Aunt Phyllis

Chris was really great at what he did in the restaurant and catering business as The Barrington House and The Regency. We had some unforgettable times and he will forever be missed.
May he and John Belote continue on in Heaven!!!!
