Michael Clyde Milbourne

Crisfield - Michael Clyde Milbourne, 63, of Crisfield, died Friday, May 4, 2018 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center.

Born in Crisfield February 6, 1955, he was a son of the late Roy C. and Eloise Bradshaw Milbourne.

He was a graduate of Crisfield High School class of 1973 and obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Salisbury State University.

A United States Coast Guard veteran, he was retired owner of the former Clarence C. Sterling & Son Hardware. Following retirement, he worked as a correctional officer at Eastern Correctional Institution, security guard at Handy's Seafood, and a substitute teacher for the Somerset County Board of Education.

Mike was very active in his community and held numerous memberships including Crisfield Elks Lodge #1044 where he was Past Exalted Ruler, Stanley Cochrane Post #16 American Legion, Chesapeake Masonic Lodge #147 AF&AM, Central Democratic Committee, and the NRA.

He enjoyed sports shooting, CB and HAM Radio, and he loved his pets "Boots" and "Tuffy". He was also a people person who loved talking to and getting to know everyone he met.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Terri Coulbourne Milbourne of Crisfield; step-children, Laurie Marshall (Steve Banks) of Frisco, NC, Bart Thomas (Tracey Olden) of Buxton, NC, and Petey Dorman (Olivia Dorman) of Crisfield; step-grandchildren, Becca, Ryan, Chandler, Joelle, Marley, Sienna, Dallas, and Joshua; two brothers, Roy A. Milbourne of Crisfield and Thomas E. Milbourne (Phyllis Hayden Milbourne) of Summerville, SC; a nephew, Stacey A. Milbourne of Crisfield; cousins, John Holland of Baltimore, Faye Horner (Ben Horner) of Fenwick Island, DE, and William Holland of Salisbury; father-in-law, Joseph "Tinker" Coulbourne (Sharon Coulbourne) of Crisfield; sisters-in-law, Tammi Reynolds of Crisfield and Traci Tyler (Chris Tyler) of Crisfield; and close family friends, Stanley Conner of Marion, Scott and Melanie Tawes of Princess Anne, and Jay and Debbie Tawes of Crisfield.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Wanda Parks Milbourne; an aunt, Elizabeth Holland; and an uncle, Herbert Holland.

Funeral services officiated by Pastor Steve Willing and a Masonic Memorial Service conducted by Chesapeake Masonic Lodge #147 will be held Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7-9 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
