Robert Powell "Bobby" Goldsborough

Crisfield-Robert Powell "Bobby" Goldsborough, 73, of Crisfield, died Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center.

Born in Crisfield August 28, 1942, he was a son of the late Robert Henry Goldsborough, Jr. and Minnie Lucille Powell Goldsborough.

A graduate of Crisfield High School class of 1960, he was co-owner of Goldsborough's Marine in Crisfield.

He was a life member and past chief of Crisfield Fire Department, member of Crisfield Elks Lodge #1044, and was the active chairman of the City of Crisfield Planning Commission. He enjoyed fishing, trains, traveling, bluegrass music, and bowled on the Eastern Shore Lanes League for more than 40 years.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Ellen Poole Goldsborough of Crisfield; his son, R. Dean Goldsborough and wife LuAnn of Crisfield; two grandsons, Christopher N. Goldsborough and Casey T. Goldsborough, both of Crisfield; two brothers, Philip Lee Goldsborough and wife Linda and Keith Alan Goldsborough, all of Crisfield; a special nephew, Keith Goldsborough of Crisfield; Brent Morgan, who he thought of as a son, and wife Barbara of Crisfield; several nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog "Maggie".

Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home where a viewing will be two hours prior. The Rev. Bob Daniels will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Paul's Cemetery in Marion.
