Sara Elizabeth Downing Marshall

Salisbury-Sara Elizabeth Downing Marshall, 42, of Salisbury, MD passed away on June 30, 2017. Sara was born on January 3, 1975 in Salisbury, MD and was the daughter of Ruth Howard and Eugene (Jack) Bunting, of Salisbury, MD and the late David Lynn Downing.

Sara is survived by her husband of 5 years, Kenneth Jack Marshall, of Salisbury, MD, his children Mackenzie and Jordan Marshall of Glasgow, VA; her sister Susan Downing Deery, brother in law Steven C. Deery, Jr, nieces Sydney Elizabeth Deery and Sara Lynn Deery of Millsboro, DE; her aunt Nancy Catlin and uncle William Catlin of Mardela Springs, MD; her aunt Barbara Powell of Salisbury, MD; her uncle Bill Robertson of Salisbury, MD; her mother-in-law Dee Buck Marshall of Salisbury, MD and the late Chuck Marshall; Michael and Kathy Marshall, their children Katie, Molly and Jack, of West Ocean City, MD; John and Joanne Shea, their children Drew and Kelsey of Vienna, VA. As well as several God children and cousins.

Sara was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother Annabelle Dorman Webster, and her maternal grandmother Hazel Fulton Howard. Sara graduated from Wicomico Senior High School, class of 1993. She was employed as a customer service manager for 20 years at Credit Plus in Salisbury, MD. She was an avid fund raiser for the Credit Plus Relay for Life Team. Sara was a member of the Salisbury Elk's # 817, and the Ocean City Jeep Club. Sara enjoyed her beloved fur babies: Ben, Sadie and Snoop, the beach, helping anyone in need, and spending time with her family and her friends. She was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Sara was a devoted wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.

A service will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury with Pastor Allen Miller officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sara's name to the Credit Plus Relay for Life Team. Contributions made to "Relay For Life" (in care of Credit Plus) at Credit Plus, 31550 Winterplace Parkway, Salisbury, MD 21804.
