Jacky Graff Obituary

Jacky Elwidor Graff
April 1, 1955 - March 22, 2025
Jacky (Jack) Elwidor Graff passed away on Saturday, 22 March 2025, at his home.
Jack was married to Suzanne Walker, and he raised her daughter, Kate Garcia. He was predeceased by his father, Jay Graff, and a younger brother, Gary Graff. Left to mourn his passing are his family, including his mother, Annie Graff, and five brothers and sisters and their spouses, and a sister-in-law: Cathy (Keith) Anderson of Delta, Ted (Tina) Graff of Delta, (Becky) Graff of LaVerkin, Utah, Carrie (Von) Black of Monticello, Utah, Susie (Tom) Applegarth, of Saratoga Springs, Utah and Jared (Jolie) Graff of Delta. He also leaves to mourn his many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews, who love and admire their Uncle Jacky.
Jacky was born and grew up in Delta, the third of seven children of Jay and Annie Graff. He kept busy on the dairy farm on which he was raised, and except for 2 years away on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he has resided in Delta his entire life. In high school, he excelled in football, wrestling, and track & field. As a young man, he also enjoyed helping his grandpa prepare his horses for their races. Jacky furthered his education at Mesa College and Brigham Young University, where he was a powerlifter. After university, he farmed with his father, began operating a dairy with his brothers, then operated his own dairy, and eventually finished his working career owning a composting business. Throughout his life, besides being seen regularly and often around the Delta community, he was frequently found visiting relatives and friends in far-off places within the United States and in Canada.
Jacky was known for his kindness and his generous spirit. He enjoyed people he enjoyed being surrounded by his family and friends. He nurtured lifelong relationships and cast a light of genuine love, warmth, and consideration for those in his circle of friends, which was huge. Many have memories of breaking bread with Jack in their homes or at an establishment in town. He has touched the lives of so many and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. While he may be gone, he is forever loved and never forgotten.
