Alice Bernhard Obituary
Rochester - Alice May (Dunigan) Bernhard, born on July 18, 1926 in Rochester, New York passed away at the age of 92 on November 6, 2018. Alice was preceded in death by her daughters, Catherine Bernhard and Patricia Bernhard. She is survived by her son John (Joan) Bernhard; Alice (Jerry) Prescott; Diane (Peter) Laiosa; and Elizabeth Eddy and many grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Friday, at 6:00 P. M. at the Trinity Reformed Church, at 909 N. Landing Road, Rochester, NY 14625.

Alice had such a love of life! She cared for my father for months before his death and for that our family will always be beyond greatful. She was quick to laugh and even quicker to love. She has always been an example of compassion, caring and joy to everyone that knew her.

Aunt Alice or as we knew her, Aunt B, was as full of life and fun as any kid could ask for. Our time as one big family on camping trips make the best of my childhood memories. There was never such a thing as too many rowdy kids for her. The more the merrier it seemed. As the last of that generation of Dunigans she will be greatly missed. ❤❤❤

Alice was such a sweet and caring woman. I enjoyed teaching Sunday School with her at Brighton UCC. I am thankful for her life and being able to be part of some of her great grandchildren's lives.

There has been talk that I once did Alice a favor, but I assure you it was nothing compared to what she gave me: an emotional center to my life's work. I will be eternally grateful that I got to know Alice. She was my hero.
