Anthony Foti Obituary
Brighton: On August 18, 2015, Tony passed away at the age of 95. Throughout his life, Tony did not know a stranger and he left all he encountered with a smile on their face. He was born and raised in Jamestown, NY. Tony served in the Army during WWII then became a hairdresser owning several salons in St Paul, MN and Denver, CO. He finished his working career by owning and operating a Beauty Supply House (State Supply Company) in Lakewood, CO and Rochester, NY.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Sebastian and Mary; brothers, Sandy, Ross and Jimmy; sister, Carmella; nephew, David; niece, Judy. Tony is survived by his wife, Marjorie; daughter Lona Dequer; son, Chris (Tara) Foti; grandchildren, Liz, Nathaniel, Miles, and Maxwell; great-grandson, Jared; sister, Mary Casamento; and many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the SCU unit at St. Ann's Community and the Visiting Nurses Service for the kind and loving care they gave during the last year of his life.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, 9 AM at St. Louis Church, 64 S Main St., Pittsford, NY. Interment will be held at a later date in Jamestown, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Hall, 1612 Buffalo Rd., Rochester, NY 14624 or St. Ann's Community, 1500 Portland Ave., Rochester, NY 14621. Uncle Tony was such a pleasure to visit, had many interesting stories and enjoyed people. Marty was such a wonderful mate, you could sense he could not have had a better life and soulmate. He will be missed but always in our thoughts. The Foti Family, San Diego
