Dansville: On 6/21/09 at age 84. Husband of Helen "Dolly" Vogel Boyd. Father of Darby (David) Leyden of Pittsford and Lori Scott of Rochester. Brother of Donald (Jane) Boyd of Dansville, William (Marilyn) Boyd of MI, Betty (Burdette) Sauerbier of Dansville, Sarah Jean (John) McKay and Joyce Mothorpe both of NC. Four grandsons, Jason (Jennifer) Snyder, Andrew Leyden, Christopher (Tiffani) Leyden and Timothy Leyden. Several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son, Douglas Boyd and a brother, Gerald Boyd.
Calling hours Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc. 271 Main St. Dansville. Services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am in St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Dansville. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery, Dansville. Masonic Service 6:30 pm Tuesday at the funeral home
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Monroe County Hospice Visiting Nurse Service, 2180 Empire Blvd. Webster, NY 14580. St. Paul's Lutheran Church 21 Clara Barton St., Dansville Ambulance Fund, PO Box 235, both of Dansville, NY 14437.
