Slater, Daniel G.
Irondequoit: Suddenly, at age 19, on October 9, 2009. Beloved son of Kelly and Stephen. Loving brother of Meghan. Grandson of Cathy (Gerald) Reback, David Graham, and Stephen Slater. Great-grandson of Marjorie (Charles) Hyde; many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Dan was a graduate of Eastridge High School, Class of 2009 and was currently attending MCC. "Danny Boy" was a sweet, sensitive, loving young man. His artistic abilities and unique outlook on life will be remembered and deeply missed by his friends and family.
Friends may call Tuesday, 3-8 PM at the Dierna Funeral Home, 2309 Culver Rd. (near Norton). Daniel's Memorial Service will be celebrated Wednesday 11 AM at Durand United Church of Christ, 4225 Culver Rd. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make contributions to an education fund for Dan's sister to Irondequoit Federal Credit Union, c/o Meghan Slater Edu. Fund or Irondequoit Community Cupboard, 4275 Culver Rd., Rochester, 14622.

Steve,Kelly,Meghan and family-We are so sorry for your loss. We will all miss Dan so much at the cottage. He will live on in all of our hearts forever.Some people come into our lives and quickly go. dear meghan, im sure you don't remember me from elementary school but i am very sorry for your loss. it just doesn't seem fair and i can't even express how sad i am about your brother's loss. it still doesn't even seem real. i've known him since elementary school and he was always such a young loving boy. he is in gods hands now. my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.
