Eric O'Neil Obituary
Brighton: April 22, 2012. Predeceased by his father, Brian O'Neil and brother, Stephen O'Neil. Survived by his daughter, Drew O'Neil; mother, Mary O'Neil; brother, David O'Neil; nieces, Mia O'Neil, Chloe O'Neil; nephew, Cameron O'Neil; beloved friend, Tracy Schleyer. Eric was a sailor and soccer dad with a deep love for the water, his family and his friends.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, April 29, 10 AM at the Jewish Community Center, 1200 Edgewood Ave., Rochester, with a Reception immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Provincetown Center for Coastal Studies, 115 Bradford St., Provincetown, MA 02357. To share a memory of Eric visit www.anthonychapels.com.

on one of eric's visits, eric, drew and myself went uptown looking for a place for dinner. we discovered a hat shop in our travels. we never did find a restaurant that was not full but we did end up with ice cream and hats! drew also had her first banana sandwich! (don't tell tracy drew did not have a decent dinner, said eric laughingly.) he always made me laugh! what a love!

Some of my favorite memories are of working on the Sam Patch with Eric. He was a loyal and caring friend - and had such a wonderful sense of humor! And you couldn't spend time with Eric and not know what a proud father he was - every deckhand heard lots of great stories about Drew. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family now. He will be missed by many.
