Ewhenia Zubil Obituary
Irondequoit: Saturday, April 15, 2017 at age 92. Predeceased by her husband Mykola. Ewhenia is survived by her children, Ted (Pat) Zubil, Marika (Wilhelm) Ridel, Daria Zubil; grandchildren, Audra, Danielle, Nickole; 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Sisterhood of St. Olga.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Jewish Home for the excellent care given to Ewhenia.
Her family will receive friends WEDNESDAY 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy S.). Panachyda Service 6:30 PM. Friends are invited to meet the family THURSDAY 10:00 AM at UKRAINIAN CATHOLIC CHURCH OF EPIPHANY for her Divine Liturgy. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Remembering her from Ellwangen, and the friendship she shared with my mother and Tonya Krupa, bring back pleasant memories. Sometimes, they were sad, but always as strangers who became family. I was honored to know, love and respect Genia. She has now joined her both her friends Hania and Tonya, in eternity. Blessing upon her. My sincere and heartfelt condolences to all her children.

Her love and giving heart was a forever flowing river....she will always hold a very special place in my heart. Her granddaughters have some of the most priceless memories of Baba that will comfort them for a lifetime. Thank you Mama for being so good to me and the girls. Rest peacefully in the arms of Our Lord.
