Franklin G. Harens

Ontario - Passed peacefully at home Friday, June 26, 2020 at age 87 surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his son, Michael. Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 64 years, Carol, children; Cris (David) Schmanke, Richard (Laurie Alfieri), granddaughters; Alison O'Neil, Hannah Harens, daughter in law,Wanda Harens, his favorite niece Della Dusett.

Frank was a United States Navy Veteran who proudly served his country during the Korean War, a member of the Ontario American Legion Post # 428 for 43 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and most recently enjoyed spending time at Finger Lakes Gaming and Casino. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather and for his fierce independence. Services will be held privately.
