Bradley

Rochester: Jacob Bradley Baxter, 28, Formerly of LeRoy, unexpectedly left this earth to join his Savior on Monday, August 4, 2014.

Jake was born April 12, 1986 in Upland, CA, the son of Jeffrey and Debra (Griffin) Baxter. Jake was a graduate of Keshequa Central School and attended both SUNY Brockport and Monroe CC. He was a missionary with Campus Ambassadors and was a man of vision and great passions, foremost his relationships with Jesus Christ and his family, seeing young people live their lives fully for Jesus Christ, improving community (especially the Beechwood neighborhood in which he lived), and the ministry at Bliss Summit Bible Camp. Jake was active in playing and officiating wrestling, soccer, and baseball/softball. He was currently a member of four different softball teams in the area.

Jake leaves behind his parents; his loving wife of 5 years, Christina (Barringer) Baxter and their three young children: Ruth Anne, Nadia, and Chase. Also surviving are Jake's two brothers: Jesse (Mary), of Queens, and Tim, of Fayetteville, NC; sister Aimee (Jim) Brooker, of Constantia, NY; father and mother-in-law Stan & Katie (Kane) Barringer, of LeRoy; brother-in-law Patrick (Emily) Barringer, of Rushford, NY; sisters-in-law: Rebekah Barringer, of North Chili, Johannah Barringer, of Manchester, NH, and Jessica (Paul) Kautz, of Norwich, CT; six nieces and nephews; many aunts and uncles and over 50 cousins.

All are invited to join in a celebration of his life at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 9, at Pearce Memorial Church, 4322 Buffalo Rd., North Chili, NY. The service will be followed by a pot luck gathering at Cornerstone Bible Chapel, 3231 Buffalo Road in Gates.
