Fiske, Jeffrey G.

Penfield: January 22, 2016, age 65. Survived by his father, Gordon; wife of 32 years, Annmarie; daughters, Barbara and Jacqueline (Ryan) Wolff; brother, Doug (Sharon) Fiske; brother-in-law Pete, (Cathy) Callahan; nephews, Dan (Tamara), Brad, Dustin (Jen), Chad and Ryan; one great nephew, Benny; several cousins.

Jeff was an Eagle Scout, proud graduate of Penn State University and a retiree of Rochester Gas & Electric. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends. His strength, courage and positive attitude will be remembered by all who supported and loved him.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Lipson Cancer Center, Lifetime Care and Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center for their exceptional and compassionate care.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 26 from 2-4 pm, with a memorial service at 4 pm at Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Rd, Webster, NY 14580. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, 2652 Ridgeway Avenue, Rochester, NY 14626.

Growing up Jeff and i were close friends, especially as younger boys. Being just a few weeks apart in age we went through all of public school, church, church school, baptism, b.y.f., boy scouts and high school fraternities and some general hanging out time together. Jeff was one of the nicest, gentlest friends i ever had. In high school he came into his own and seemed to suddenly become a dynamic young adult who worked hard and just zoomed ahead, never looking back. I am so happy to know of all the great success he achieved in his life. I was very blessed to be his friend for a time. My sympathies to the Fiske family for your great loss. -Rich Ulrich

We had a good friendship Jeff, alot of good times and happy memories. Who would have thought in 1968 that a city boy from Rochester and a redneck from Bellefonte could have forged a bond that lasted. A good husband,father and friend. I will miss you Jeff. Until we meet again brother.
