Jerome Marks Obituary
Pittsford - July 23, 2019. Predeceased by his parents, William & Libby Marks. He is survived by his best friend & loving wife of 59 years, Susan; children, Richard (Laura) Marks & Debra (Anthony) Intini; grandchildren, Jeffrey & Rachel Marks & Amy & David Intini; brother, Robert Marks; nieces, nephews, cousins & many dear friends.
In 1958, Jerry founded Jerome M. Marks Agency, LLC.
Funeral Services will be held TODAY-WEDNESDAY, July 24, 2019 at 11 AM in the sanctuary of Temple B'rith Kodesh (2131 Elmwood Ave.). Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends on WEDNESDAY 7-9 PM & THURSDAY 2-4 & 7-9 PM at 11 Pin Hook Lane in Pittsford. Donations in Jerry's memory can be made to Wilmot Cancer Center or the Palliative Care Unit at Strong Memorial Hospital. To leave a message of condolence, visit:

A great man and a great friend for over 40 years. Jerry faced all his challenges with courage and good humor. His advise was always "never ever give up" and he did not. I will miss his presence in my life but I am sure I am a better man for having known him.

So very sad to see my favorite gentleman has passed.
I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Jerome and being a part of his care.
It was inspiring how much he enjoyed reading.
I just wanted to pass along how saddened we were to hear of his passing and what an honor it was to meet him.

Dear Sue, Rick and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. He was such a nice man. He had advised me and made me more aware of the insurance options available. I found him to be warm as well as knowledgeable. He made me feel more at ease while making particular decisions.
He was one who knew his craft quite well.

Dear Sue and Rick,
Very sad to learn of Jerry's passing. He was just a wonderful human being. A great mentoring dad and loyal husband. The fact he was a true insurance pro is secondary. Always enjoyed getting together with Jerry. Cherish the good memories.

SO much more than a boss, Jerry was a mentor, father figure, a warm-hearted gentleman who provided endless encouragement and support. He is deeply missed. My continued thought and prayers are with you all.

I was so sorry to hear that Jerry had passed. I have endless fond memories of him and of Sue during the time we all worked together. He was a person of highest integrity, but also warm and caring. I always looked forward to visiting the agency, knowing that no matter how difficult the day may have been, I would leave with a smile. He will be missed, but has left the world a better place for having touched so many people.
