Joan (Williams) Obituary
Penfield - June 16, 1932-November 1, 2019. Passed away suddenly after a long and courageous battle with illness in the presence of the her loving daughter, granddaughters and great-grandson. Predeceased by her husband, Joseph Keegan; brother, Arthur "Skip" Frauel; brother-in-law, William Tyrlick and dear friend, Richard Williams.
Joan is survived by her only child, Suzanne (Peter) Piraino; granddaughter, Jennifer (Kevin) Smith, Christine (Brian) Goetz. She leaves her great-grandchildren, that were the brightest light in her life, Andrew, Michael and Madelyn Levy, Natalee and Emily Goetz and her recent addition of Carter and Claire Smith; sister, Margaret Tyrlick; her niece, Marta (Ira) Heller; nephews, cousins and dear friends.
No prior calling hours. Joan's Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday 11/7/19 at 11 AM in St. Joseph's Church (Gebhardt Rd.) Penfield. In lieu of flowers donations in Joan's memory to Mary Cariola Children's Center. Inurnment Private.

My nana was one of the funniest, kindest, and sweetest person you could meet. When I could I would go over to her house and play with her cat Libby. And when me and my grandma would go to target we would bring my nana. I would always make sure I dont step on her oxygen tubes. A couple weeks before Christmas me and my grandma would go over there and decorate her little Christmas tree and we would drink hot coco and have chocolate chip cookies. I miss her so much!
