Basta, John C.

Victor: Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at age 70. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Sarah Basta; children and grandchildren: Danielle Basta (Sam Casella), Grace, Rose; John (Kimberly Irwin) Basta, Michael; Sarah E. Basta (Joel Taddeo), Avery, Dominic; Jacob (Jessica Gilson) Basta, Ava, Giana, Carmela; brothers, Michael I. Basta, Mario (Renee) Basta, Peter (Pauline) Basta; sister, Mary Basta (Ed) Tibbs.

A celebration of John's life will be held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock at St. Patrick's Church, 115 Maple Avenue, Victor. Gifts in John's memory may be made to Fingerlakes Hospital Assistance Fund, 2 Coulter Road, Clifton Springs, NY 14432.

So sad to hear of John's passing. I knew John from the years he called on our company for sales. John was the consummate salesman, polite, polished, and professional. He would always ask about my family and I appreciated his kind words when my father passed away. While I have not seen him in several years, he is just someone who stays in your thoughts. Big man, big heart.
