John Francis
Kendall: John Francis Downs, age 81, formerly of Rochester, passed away Mar. 11, 2014.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years, Martha (Nesius) Downs, daughters, Martha (Russell) Bailey of LeRoy, Margaret (Doug) Wells of Bowling Green, KY and Lucy (Brad) Hartman of Myrtle Beach, SC, 3 grandchildren; Christopher Bailey and Jaime (Dave) Bailey of LeRoy and Eric (Tonya) Pisher of Bowling Green, KY and 4 great-grandchildren; Victoria Fetzer, Blake Fetzer, Jacob Pisher and Rachel Pisher. He was predeceased by his brothers, Nicholas J. Downs II of Rochester and Patrick Henry Downs of Long Beach, CA.
Friends may call on the family on Monday, Mar. 17 from 2 ~ 4 and 6 ~ 8 at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Road (Rt. 19), LeRoy, where his funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to either Hospice of Orleans, Inc., P. O. Box 489, Albion, NY 14411 or Orleans County Animal Shelter, 4125 Oak Orchard Rd, Albion, NY 14411.
