Rudman, Margaret Costigan

Palm Coast, Florida: Margaret Costigan Rudman died peacefully in the arms of her daughters and supported by the prayers of family and friends on May 23, 2011 in Palm Coast, Florida. Margie was born in 1929 in Brockport, New York. She married George Rudman in 1951. They had six daughters. Margie worked at the State University of New York at Brockport and moved to Florida in 1984 after retiring from 15 years of service with the Penfield (NY) Central School District. Margie was an active member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Penfield, and St. Brendan's Catholic Church and Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Ormond Beach, Florida. She was active in numerous civic and charitable organizations. Margie is survived by her brother, James Costigan of Chatham, NY, and her daughters: Mary Kay Jiloty, Christine McNerney, Betsy Miner, Marcia Rudman, Molly Randol and Patty McEwen. She also leaves nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held in Florida. Local services will be held at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. Friends are welcome.
