Nancy Brewster Obituary
Pittsford - February 22, 2019 at age 96. Nancy is predeceased by her husband, Ernest Billings Brewster; her parents, Helen and Meloy Smith; son, Dr. William Brewster. She is survived by her daughters, Ann Brewster (Douglas Ross) and Cynthia Brewster; son, Blair Brewster (Dr. Mary Kim Brewster); grandchildren, Dr. Blair Irwin (Dr. Andre Bautista), Dr. Lydia Clements (Dr. Dave Clements), Mary Alden Irwin (Yue Yang), James, Sarah, and George Martin, Dr. Katharine Brewster (Sam Routhier), Dr. Ernest Billings Brewster; great-grandchildren, Ben, Max, and Alex Bautista.
Nancy graduated from the Columbia School and Smith College. She belonged to the CCR, the Genesee Valley Club, the Chatterbox Club, and the Rochester Garden Club. She loved riding her bike, skiing, playing tennis, gardening, a dip in Canandaigua Lake, macaroons and especially golf. The center of Nancy's life was her family.
Family and friends may gather Friday, March 1st at Cloverwood Senior Living, 1 Sinclair Drive in Pittsford, at 3 PM for a Celebration of Life. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ackerman Institute, www.ackerman.org/donate/ to be used for mental health research.
