Nelson Greene Obituary
Rochester: Nelson died peacefully at home on March 12, 2009. Beloved husband of Phyllis Elizabeth Greene; dear father of Cara Thompson, Ronald Thompson, Kevin Greene of Rochester, NY & Nelson Greene Jr. of Largo, Maryland; brother of Debbie Greene of Rochester, NY, Nyla Grier, Margret Elder, Yvette Smalls, Shirley Greene of South Carolina, Samuel Elder, Frankie Elder of South Carolina & Jerome Elder of Kentucky. Also survived by 4 grandchildren, Kia, Tiana, Unique and Reagan; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends may call on Thursday, March 19th 6-9 PM at Metropolitan Funeral Chapels Inc., 109 West Ave. The Funeral will be held Friday, March 20th 11:00 am at Memorial AME Zion Church, 549 Clarissa Street, Officated by Rev. Kenneth Q. James. Interment Riverside Cemetery.
