Richard Rightmyer Obituary
Greece - Richard was called to his heavenly home on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at the age of 86 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Vivian for 63 years; children, David Rightmyer, Cathleen Pusateri and Jocelyn Rightmyer; grandchildren, Dana Rightmyer, Shana Rightmyer, Matthew Pusateri and Stephanie Iraci; sister, Nancy Howell-Walsh; nieces and nephews.
Richard has a 26 year career in the United States navy. One of his favorite jobs was working at the Genesee Country Museum as a blacksmith. He created beautiful objects from metal. He was a devoted and faithful member of his church.
Due to the pandemic a mass and celebration of life will be announced in 2021. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Pax Christi Rochester in care of Harry Murray 40 Reservoir Avenue Rochester NY 14620. For more information or to sign his online guestbook, visit www.meesonfamily.com

Dick was my oldest sibling. He was in the Navy when I was born so there was a big age difference. I will always have great memories of him stopping at our home on his way home from Reserves. He also took time to talk to me and encourage me in doing the right thing, doing good in school so I could have a good life. He had an awesome sense of humor and I always looked up to him. I remember when I was young I was fascinated with his tattoo-the Lil Stinker ( that my Brother Bob got one very similar to when he went in the Navy ). A lot of good memories of a great man. I love you Dick and will miss you dearly. Have a wonderful reunion with all of our siblings and family that passed before you and always watch over all of us here. Rest in Peace Big Brother.
