Richard "Coach" Smith

Chili - On May 2, 2018. Born in Clark Mills, NY on July 2, 1940. He is predeceased by parents Joseph Smith & Mildred Leone, granddaughter Domenica Nicolosi and foster parents Kate & Harold Peabody.

Survived by his loving wife of 40 years Elizabeth; daughter Deborah (Roy) Nicolosi; son Kevin (Michael) Smith, brother-in-law John and his wife Virginia Kreydt; grandchildren Dominic Nicolosi & Eric (Danielle Triano) Nicolosi; great grandchildren Anthony & Natalia Nicolosi; many nieces and nephews.

Coach was a retiree of Eastman Kodak and a veteran of the U.S. Army (1961-1964). He was a member of American Legion Post 1830 and Moose Lodge 2244. He was also an avid golfer.

Friends and family may call Monday May 7, from 4-7 pm at James R. Gray Funeral Home, 1530 Buffalo Rd. Interment at St. Bonaventure Cemetery in Olean, NY. The courtesy of no flowers, kindly consider a donation to Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd. Fairport, NY 14450.
