Robert D'Ottavio Obituary
Victor: Monday, September 1, 2014, at age 56. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Denise D'Ottavio; children, Garrett (Hannah) D'Ottavio, Danielle (Paul) McMorrow; mother, Janet D'Ottavio; brother, Richard (Sandi) D'Ottavio; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ruth and Rex Cooper; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Robert's life will held at Victor Community Church, 121 Victor Heights Parkway, Victor, NY, Thursday evening at 5 o'clock. Gifts in Robert's memory may be directed to braintumor.org.

When I heard of his illness, I wanted to send him a card telling him that he was one of my favorite bosses. I didn't, I truly wish that I had.

My mom posted here earlier today and told me that she found a picture of our soccer team from the Pittsford Hawks. I saw the picture and it brought tears to my eyes. Coach Bob was one of the best soccer coaches I had growing up--he really cared about all of us girls. He will be missed and remembered by all of us.

Not anyone can coach girls soccer. Bob was the best. We had some much fun watching him and the girls play soccer. My heart goes out to Denise and family. Prayers for you all.

I had the pleasure of knowing Bob from him being the "BIG" boss at Pactiv. He always took all my harassing in stride and always came back seems like everyday for more. I will miss him and forever remember him. Rest in peace Bob!!!

Bob was the nicest and most truthful person I ever worked for. We used to tease him for how financially tight he was. He will be missed.

Bob was wonderful. Worked with him at pactiv. He told me once "carol...i didnt think u could surprise me twice in one week but you did." His words gave me hope and encouragement to become more than a factory worker. And i left pactiv in 2012 to pursue those things and i am on that path. I am grateful he saw that in me and i will miss him. I hope these words give u comfort in your sad time.
