Bob was my s hool bus driver but so much more. He offered so much advice as an older ( twenty something) person. He became a mentor and later a great brother-in-law. I still miss him so much.

Brother Bob was a great brother. He was smart, hard working, energetic, successful with a positive outlook. He was a great family man and a mentor to me in my formative years. In my younger years when I needed help or advice, I made a phone call to Bob. He introduced me to my wife. He was the best. Proud to have been his brother. BILL
Bob was an amazing brother-in- law. Still today, I often say to myself, what would Bob do in this situation? His ability to live life to the fullest, even with the physical drawbacks he faced in his later years, are an inspiration to me. He never lost his sense of humor. I will continue to miss him greatly. Sister- in - law Ann

So sorry to only now hear of this and to miss opportunity to pay my respects in person. "Uncle Bob" was my godfather, my father Tom Hedrich's very best friend since Genesee St and a hot dog stand they shared (?) Dad always spoke so highly of his memories with Bob, and looked up to him like a brother. I remember fun times, family picnic and baseball games at the Nothnagle's, and a man of great character. Taking me out to lunch when I worked in Brighton many years ago still made me feel like a princess. My sincerest condolences to all the family.

Several years ago I taught a course at RIT named "Construction Safety," a portion of which involved explosives, drilling, and blasting. Bob was very helpful to me and the students. He arranged a trip to a local quarry to observe blasting operations, brought to class a tunneling contractor, gave tours of his company's headquarters, and showed us how they stored explosives in the firm's magazine site. Lots of nice memories of him.

Dear Aunt Carol and my cousins;
Uncle Bob was always in a good mood when I saw him. Funny, caring, and friendly are words that pop into my head.Everyone in Rochester seemed to know him.
I was also very touched by how tender he was towards Aunt Carol when I saw him one of these last times: rushing to get her walker for her, making sure her seat was pulled out for her etc. Such a stellar example of a good person and a well-lived life.

Bob Nothnagle drove my school bus when I was in grade school, introduced me to my husband of 54 years and through all those years has been an inspiration. He was a wonderful family man, smart businessman, faith filled person, best brother-in-law ever and in addition to all that, had a great sense of humor. He will be missed greatly on our trips back to New York but I am so blessed to have known him for so many years.

As a brother, he was the best..helped me a great deal during my teenage years. Always had a kind word for people. Introduced me to my wife of 54 years. I told him I was proud to have him for my brother for 77 years. I have lots of sadness, but great memories. Miss him already.
