Fairport: June 24, 2014. Predeceased by his wife, Bridget. He is survived by 3 daughters, Belinda O'Brien (Joseph) Scofero, Philomena O'Brien and Mary O'Brien (David) Topian; 3 sons, Noel (Jenan), Sean and Tom; 9 grandchildren, Tara, Aidan and Caroline Coughlan, Sheila Wasilewski (Mike), Trevor and Shauna Topian, Brendan, Michelle and Jackson O'Brien; 4 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews in Ireland and USA.

Friends are welcome to call at the RICHARD H. KEENAN FUNERAL HOME, 7501 PITTSORD PALMYRA ROAD, FAIRPORT (EGYPT LOCATION), Friday 4-7. Memorial Mass, Saturday 9 AM at Church of the Assumption, Fairport. Donations may be made to East Rochester Community Food Shelf, 120 W. Commercial St., East Rochester, NY 14445 in John's memory.

Uncle Sean was and will remain a legend . His drole sense of humour and love of nature were a joy. Both Breda and Sean always provided a home from home in Rochester to assorted waifs and strays! We will miss him terribly - his passing truly marks the end of an era. March on uncle Sean to your resting place with Breda . You can now truly 'take a pause'.
