Dear Diane and family,
I was so taken back when I heard of Tom’s passing. I first met Tom at the Dollinger Corp back in the
Late 70’s. Tom brought me into the Purchasing Dept that he was manager of. He and I worked everyday together
sitting side by side for years and years and he was not only a boss but became a dear friend.
Tom was that rare type of person that when you meet him, you instantly liked him, when you got to know him, you loved the
Guy, and after that you aspired to be like him. Words that I do not say about many people.
He helped get me my job at Avnet 15 years ago and Tom and I worked at PSC together again along with son Tim.
He will be greatly missed and he will always hold a special place in my heart.
Regards,
Devon Van Vechten

Mrs Ragland, Timmy, and Adrienne,
Words cannot express how sorry I am for your loss. I have so many wonderful memories of Mr. Ragland through the years. You all were always so welcoming, opening your home to the neighborhood children.
In later years, I always looked forward to running into him at Wegmans and no matter how much of a hurry he may have been in, he always let me rub his beautiful bald head and talked with me for quite awhile.
I will hold his memory close to my heart as I know you all will as well. He was a wonderfully kind man with a huge heart. He will certainly be missed. Godspeed, Mr. Ragland
All my love,
"No Tails"

Dear Diane,
My sympathies to you and trust the memories of Tom's life will provide comfort. Tom was an inspiration for those of us who worked with him at ENI and enjoyed his stories and perspective. He somewhat reluctantly shared some personal war stories that were indicative of his character and bravery. He will be missed.
