To the Dotson, To every season there is a reason, we don't know why things happen, but there is a reason. Vinny did a nice job in the Rochester Community for children's that will be greatly missed. He was pillar for me to see when he joined the Elim Christian Fellowship Church, he was always so polite and I respected and love him for that. I pray God will give you and the children strength through this ordeal.

To Vinney's wife and family, I was blown away when I heard of his demise,I was out of town,I don't even know where to start except he was always very respectful to other women and myself. Whom made a change in his life, I also knew him from the Barber shop on Jeff. and I was over joyed when he came to visit my church and joined. " The Old Things Had Passed Away"Working in the battle field for the Lord, giving his future life to the Lord. I just like to say this for some people Every Sinner has a pass and every Saint has a future. May God spirit rest upon your heavy hearts.Mrs. Dotson I leave you with these words It won't get any easier but it will get better,as time passes on you will understand these words which were shared with me in my time of grief. God Bless.
May he rest in peace!!!!

I first met Vinney when he worked at Griffin's barbershop. He was always smiling and pleasant to be around. I recall how proud Griff was when Vinney opened up his barbershop and I had the pleasure of speaking with Vinney and expressing how proud we all were to see him doing so well.
He was a very kind person and will be greatly missed.
I will keep the family in my prayers and just know that with God all things are possible...

Even though I have lived in Lilburn, GA for the past 12+ years, I still consider Rochester my home, as well as those that have helped to better our community. Vincent Dotson definitely fits the category of the type of Rochesterian that has changed our community. God Bless and Keep his family as they mourn the loss of their dearly departed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all now. The story of his overcoming will long remain in my heart and be a story I will definitely share with my children.
