William Cox Obituary
Longmount, CO: May 23, 1937 - Feb. 15, 2017. Bill passed away at his home in Longmont, Colorado at the age of 79. He was born to Edward and Helen (Cooper) Cox in Rochester, N.Y. he served in the United States Army. In 1991, he retired from Kodak. For the next 14 years, he was caretaker at a shooting range in Ault, Colorado.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Susie Cox; brother, Rick Cox; children, Leslie Cox Thorson (Dave); stepchildren, Schantel Yearous (Mark), Richard Vanatta (Rocki) and Kristofer Vanatta; Eleven grandchildren; Four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Cox, his parents, Edward L. and Helen Cox and his sister, Nancy Altpeter.
A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on Sunday, April 2nd, 11:30 A.M. at Barnard Restaurant, 360 Maiden Lane, Rochester, NY 14616.
