Dennis Dean Wirth
January 30, 1949 - June 7, 2024
Dennis Dean Wirth, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, died peacefully on June 7, 2024, at the age of 75. He is survived by his wife, Karen, his sons Telly and Kyle, their wives Amorita and Grace, and his grandchildren, Mason, Jaxon, Maddie and Ellie.
Born in Lebanon, Oregon, on January 30, 1949, his rural upbringing nurtured his love for agriculture and set his course for a fulfilling life and career in the Willamette Valley farming community. A man who always put his family and friends first, his love of Oregon and of people found purpose in a life of service and generosity.
A celebration of life is planned for Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Wirth family warehouse, 30391 Driver Road, Shedd, OR 97377. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Halsey Shedd Rural Fire Protection District Volunteer Association. In celebration of his love of hats, attendees are welcome to leave any hat, new or old, they believe Dennis would have enjoyed at the celebration.

Dennis was the best brother-in-law anyone could hope to know. He taught me to drive combine on a yellow combine (I was a teen girl so, of course, I remember the color). He is missed.

As receptionist at Linn Benton Tractor, I saw Dennis frequently. He was always friendly and usually smiling. He will be missed. Prayers for his family.
