August 14, 1940 - September 14, 2023
Mary Sue Marquardt born August 14, 1940 in Smithville Oklahoma passed peacefully at home surrounded by her children on Thursday September 14, 2023. Mary is preceded in death by her husband Frank Henry Marquardt as well as all her older siblings: J.D., Herman, Harris, John, Robert, Arthur, Bonnie, Pauline, Dora, and Lois.
Mary is survived by her children Linda Powell and Steven Marquardt. Grandchildren Emilie Powell and Cassie Gay as well as great grandchildren Eloise and Austin Foelkl and Memphis, Brodee, and Hattie Gay. Mary married the love of her life Frank Henry Marquardt December 12, 1959. They shared a wonderful life together. Those years were shared making memories with their family and friends especially on fishing and hunting trips. Together they owened and operated many successful restaurants throughout Oregon. Mary will always be remembered by her fsmily and friends through her wonderful recipes.
A remembrance service will be held Saturday September 23rd at 1 oclock at Waterloo Park.
