Gerald E. Jungjohan

Gerald Jungjohan of Denton died on April 18 at age 86 after a short illness. Born in Moline, Illinois, to Emmett and Ruby Jungjohan, he attended Moline schools and community college, then enrolled at the University of Arizona before enlisting in the Air Force. After discharge as Sergeant, he completed his bachelor's degree at Baylor University. He married Barbara Mallow of McKinney who predeceased him. One daughter, Elizabeth Ann Parrish and son-in-law Clifton Parrish survive. Mr. Jungjohan worked for the Kroger Corporation of Dallas in risk management until his retirement. An active member of First Denton, he will be remembered in a Celebration of Life set for Wednesday, May 1, at 2 pm in the Fellowship Hall at First Denton (1100 Malone St). The family requests no flowers, but memorial gifts to the Wounded Warriors Project will be appreciated.
