Guy Harrison Obituary
Ralph Harrison of McKinney, Texas passed away on December 16, 2021 at the age of 79. He was born on September 23, 1942 to Guy William Harrison and Ola Myrtle (Bishop) Harrison in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Ralph proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and also for over 20 years until his retirement. He married Penny Rae Parchman on July 19, 1984 in Odessa, Texas. They were longtime members of the Asbury United Methodist Church in Denton, Texas.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Penny Harrison of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Angie Johnston and husband, Billy of Lake Jackson, Texas; son, Shel R. Harrison and wife, Kimberly of Lucas, Texas; daughter, Vicki Gurley and husband, Tom of McKinney, Texas; son, Ken Harrison and wife, Traci of Lubbock, Texas; daughters, Susan Smithson and partner, Jamie Vaughan of Richardson, Texas and Laura Johnston and husband, David of Sanger, Texas; 20 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Eloise Hodge and numerous other loving friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Guy and Ola Myrtle Harrison; 1 brother and 1 sister.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas with military honors.
