James Fipps Obituary
James worked as a marine mechanic. He loved spending time with family and close friends, listening to music, and cooking on the smoker.
James is survived by his daughter, Jamie Cheyenne Marie Fipps of Denton; his father, Phil Fipps of Sanger; and two sisters, Coleen Rogers of Pilot Point and Debbie Lee Carroll of Crossroads. He is preceded in death by his mother, Loretta.
The family will honor James with a Celebration of Life at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, October 21, 2023, at the home of Phil Fipps in Sanger, Texas.

You were my first best friend and my best first-friend! We may have been just dumb little kids together, but those were some big adventures we had: camping, fishing, building, improvising, and just "using our natural brains." I have children now about the age when we were close. Having a best friend is increasingly rare these days. We took different paths in life, but you stayed with me more than you ever knew.
