I worked with Lo for many years. His company provided employees for my projects for more than 15 years at Bell Helicopter. He was a mentor and good friend. He even helped out my wife with her business by providing her with some TV commercials. After I left Bell, I remained in contact with him and visited with him a couple of times. He was a fabulous artist. He was a gentleman in every sense of the word. I will miss his gentle soul.

No one knows me but Lothrop had a huge impact on my life. I was a Captain in the Army in 1991 as a system manager for the Apache Helicopter. One of my tasks was to develop training videos and the contractor was TecFilms. I traveled to Dallas several times and worked with Lo and his son Peter and was very impressed by the company and in particular Lo. He had lots of great stories and must have seen something in me that I didn't see. Lo thought I would be a great entrepreneur so I started thinking about it. I did some research and ran some ideas by Lo and he encouraged me to pursue them. He even offered me a position at TecFilms which I turned down when I decided to leave the military to start my entrepreneurial career. I focused on software development for digital media which in 1992 was not even a thing. I have started several successful companies, the latest being Vu S,tudio and have been very successful in both life and business. To no small degree, I owe a special debt of gratitude to Lo who put the confidence in me to forge my own path. Pete - If you read this, please send me a note. Just thought you should know. Thanks! Mark

It has been four years since my former father-in-law passes away. He remains in my heart and thoughts.

Lo was the best father-in-law a girl could have. He and Collette were best friends to my parents Bob and Tania. We all have so many wonderful memories of Lo. A patriot, a brilliant sculpture and artist, a humanitarian and a gentle human being. He will remain in my memory forever.
