Martha Desmond Bryant Chandler

Martha Desmond (Desi) Bryant Chandler, 95, of Ballinger, Texas went to be with the Lord, Monday, December 6, 2016.

She was born in Sanger, Texas to Dennis and Jewel Bryant. She is preceded in death by her husband, Archie; her son, Robert; her parents; and her brothers, Dennis Jr. and Travis.

She is survived by her sister, Wanda Kirkpatrick of Ballinger; her daughter-in-law, Dr. Tormista Chandler of Las Vegas, NV. ; a niece, Mechele and husband, Mark Ussery of Ballinger, whose care she has been in for the past 2 years. Desi was a resident of Ashwood Manor Assisted Living. She is also survived by her nephews, Terry Bryant of Spring, TX, Bill Bryant of Coppers Cove, TX, and David Bryant of Arlington, TX.

She lived, with her husband, in Tivoli, TX for many years. Desi was known for her making of many quilts. She was a very giving person and helped supply baby quilts for the Pregnancy Crisis Center. She will be missed by her family and her many friends.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
