Max Stockwell Obituary
Max Willard Stockwell, 87 of Denton went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 28, 2017 in Denton, Texas surrounded by family.
He was born on February 28, 1930 in Gosfield Twp., Essex Co. Toronto Ontario, Canada to Alvin and Ethel (Upcott) Stockwell.
Max is survived by his wife, Joyce, three sons, Brian Stockwell, Darren Stockwell, Dan (Kim) Stockwell, step-son, Mike (Bernadette) Lambert, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Laverne Stockwell, two brothers, Dewey Stockwell and Al Stockwell.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 6-8 P.M. Funeral services will be Friday June 2, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. both at DeBerry Funeral Directors, burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers are Shawn Lambert, Kevin Lambert, Roddy Adams, Rocky Turner, Lance Turner, Chase Stockwell, Cameron Stockwell, Carson Stockwell and Courtney Stockwell as Honorary Pallbearer.

With love and sympathy to everyone's life that Max had touched.
I cherish the memories of visiting Max and his family in Texas when I was very young ,and when Max and Danny came to visit my Dad (Alvin) in Ontario on there motorcycles. Remember to always make time in life for family.

My deepest sympathy to the family. Uncle Max is well remembered here. He wrote the most humorous letters to us, when he moved down to Texas, and we so looked forward to his visits back. We always had fun when Uncle Max was around.
