Irene..words can never express our sorrow at Mike's passing. We are in shock that such a wonderful boy, student, athlete, son, husband, father and friend has left this life. I'm sorry I wasn't able to speak with you personally at the service yesterday but we were able to talk with Tiffany, Barbara, Jim and the rest of the family. Diana was able to reconnect with her Godson Shawn and meet his wife and son. We noticed that Tiffany was pregnant which I'm sure is bittersweet but that baby will be of great comfort to you in the days ahead. I'm so happy that you and Mike brought Barbara to my 75th Birthday Party and embarrassed that I haven't visited her in the interim. Hopefully I can remedy that. The memorial for Mike was touching and you should be so proud that he chose you for his partner in life. We all wish it had been longer in years. Blessings!

Irene- Kathy and I send our condolences and prayers for you and your family after Mike´s passing. It´s been a very long time, but I remember some nights when we were all very young playing Pictionary at the Paterson´s first home out in Carrollton. Fun times! Then the Ironman days competing against Mike, an always difficult and impossible task when playing basketball. He was so good! And with all the machismo and Type A guys in the group, Mike was always a gracious winner and even more so if he lost. A nicer, friendly, gentlemanly guy there never was. Just wanted you to know we´re thinking about you and remember back when.
