Raymond Sulak Obituary
Raymond James Sulak, 69, died Tuesday, May 1, 2018, of brain cancer.
Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Greenwood Chapel. Interment: 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Cemetery, Cyclone, Texas. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Greenwood.
He was born in Galveston, Texas on Oct. 25, 1948, to Rosalie and Ludvick Sulak.
Survivors: He was father to Nichole Gilley, Bo Renshaw and wife, Sarah, Whitney Sulak and fiance, Brandon Young and Jared Sulak; grandfather to Trevor and Brett Gilley, James, Callie and Abby Renshaw; and loving brother to Joann Barcak, Charles Sulak and Barbra Parsons.

Raymond was a true inspiration to his team mates and classmates at RHS. Even though he was a superior athlete, he never let that go to his head. Always the nice and caring person.

RIP Ray. One of the best athletes to come out of Rogers. More than that, Ray was one of the good guys. Always cheerful, kind, understanding and polite. Ray comes from a wonderful family and had a great deal of influence on my youth. Know that he lived a good life.

Raymond worked hard his entire life. He never took anything for granted and he earned everything he got. He is to be remembered for his dedication to work, to family, to friends, and to teammates. I will always remember his strength and determination in sports, especially football. I hope his legacy of hard work and dedication will abide in his family for generation to come. My condolences to the family. We lost a good man.
