Robin Gay Weddle

Robin Gay Weddle of Denton, Texas passed away on August 30, 2018. She was born on July 2, 1960 in Dallas Texas, was a long-time resident of Forth Worth, Texas and had retired to Denton to be closer to family and friends.

Robin taught elementary school for thirty-two years and counts many of her teaching colleagues as her closest friends. She was loved by everyone who knew her and has left us all with full hearts and wonderful memories.

Robin was preceded in death by her father, Royce Weddle and is survived by her mother, Vicki Weddle, sister and brother-in-law, Tammy and Timothy Wright, brother, Randy Weddle, niece Gwen Wright, nephews, Jordan Wright, Reid Weddle and Ryan Weddle, great niece, Mila Wright, and great nephews TJ and Corbin Wright. Robin also leaves behind her two greatly loved and slightly spoiled dogs, Lucy and Bongo.

The family wishes to thank the incredible staff of the ICU at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Denton for the tender care they provided.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, September 6th at Highland Baptist Church in Denton. Visitation will be held at the church prior to the service. Robin will be laid to rest at Roseland Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made in memory of Robin Weddle to the Denton Animal Shelter.
