Samuel Wayne Wederstrandt

Samuel Wayne Wederstrandt passed away on January 3, 2019. Sam, as he was known, was born January 4, 1948, to parents Samuel R. Wederstrandt and Geraldine Wederstrandt OBrien. He was proceeded in death by his wife Priscilla Wederstrandt. Sam is survived by his daughter Michelle Magee and husband Brandon of Plano,Tx; brother Ken Wederstrandt and wife Mary of Aransas Pass, Tx; niece Catherine Vasquez and husband Roland of San Antonio Tx; cousin Jerry Hunter and wife Carol of Columbus, Georgia; devoted friends Gilvis Morris and wife Judy of Denton, Tx. and Harmon Preston of Collinsville,Tx.

Sam spent his business career with Victor Equipment in Roanoke,Tx. until his retirement in 2009. Sam was a talented portrait artist drawing life like renderings as a hobby. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers and movies and collected thousands of movies throughout his life. Sam also loved to play pool, card games, and enjoyed studying maps. Sam was loved and will be missed by his family and friends.
