Denton, TX formerly of Lubbock, TX,
32, passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021. Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, July 24, 2021, at 1 p.m. at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitation will be held today from 5 to 6 p.m. at Griffin Mortuary. Steven was born to Elder Steven, Sr. and Phyllis Gant Gambles on January 31, 1989 in Denton, TX. He was a Creative Engineered Artist. He was a very intelligent Business Owner, Photographer, Designer, and Entrepreneur. He leaves to cherish his memories; his father, Elder Steven Gambles, Sr. (Petra); his mother, Phyllis Gant Gambles; brother, Marcus Gambles; brother-in-love, Adrian Hamilton; grandparents, Rev. Tommie C. and Mrs. Tommie L. Ervin; companion, Brittney Curlin; uncles, Samuel Gambles, Jr. (Pearl), Richard Gambles, Stevie Manahan (Barbara), Tony Gant (Darnetta); and Pastor Tory Gant (Rita); aunts, Earlene Rollins, Alline Burley, Bettye Wilson, and Brenda Gant; a host of other relatives and friends.

Didn´t know steven watch a documentary so sad my prayer to his family senseless

I did not know Steven but I watched a documentary about him and it hurt my heart. As a parent myself I felt the need to share my condolences to the Gambles family. May God continue to lift you all up in strength, as my heart is saddened by your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. May Steven Rest easy in paradise.
