This is such a loss for the family and the many folks who had the pleasure to know Taft. I was the plant manager at Peterbilt where I met Taft. He always hag a big smile laugh and welcoming hand shake that would lift you up. Taft was the a person who raised everyone spirits of the many he touched. He will be missed but the Lord needed someone who would spread joy and laughter and he got a good man.
God Bless the family as they deal with their loss.

I knew this family when the boys were young. The character and integrity they displayed daily was beyond compare. Mr. Taft Mohair, you made a much bigger impact on this world than you likely realized. Thank you and rest in peace.

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Mohair Family.
Taft may have stepped aside, but his kind heart for all will never be forgotten.
His big smile will be shining down from above on each of us everyday.
In the late 70's I was fortunate to have had Taft as my Supervisor while working at Emconite / "Taft's" warehouse, shipping & receiving Dept. The seven of us counting "Daddy MO" worked well together. A few of us even joined the EMC bowling league.
On snow days Taft would chauffeur a few of us to & from work and I was STYLING in the back seat of his big Gold Cadillac. Those were THE GOOD OL' DAYS.
In the 80's twelve of us joined the Peterbilt Motors work force.
When you lose someone you Love, you gain an ANGEL as we all know.
With Loving Memories, Marla Parker

Miss Maude, while I never met your brother I see from all the beautiful messages that Taft and you shared the same gifts of happiness, compassion, laughter and singing. What a wonderful person he must have been. I love you Maude. I'm so sorry.
Carolyn, I am so sorry for your loss. May God give you strength and merciful peace in the days to come, and God bless you and your entire family.

Taft had such a contagious laugh and smile. Upon arriving at water works many times he was already there, exercising and singing. He shared health related challenges he had overcome to encourage me. He will be greatly missed.
Yours in Christ,

I regret that I did not meet Taft until late in my life when we both used the Denton Natatorium to water-walk early in the morning. It was often easier for me to face the cool water knowing Taft would be there spreading his cheerful and humorous comments all around. He knew newcomers' names within their first fifteen minutes there. When he left to carry out all his "Good Samaritan" errands around town, it took him ten minutes to leave the building because so many people wanted to say goodbye. We all knew of his love for his large family, his strong faith in God and his love of all God's creation. We will miss him but we--and the world--are better because he was here.

Our loss has been Heaven's gain! Taft had such a kind and loving heart to all he met. He was such a Godly man and his strong faith shined brightly on everyone! David and I are truly heartbroken over his passing. His beautiful memory will forever live in our hearts. Our lives have been made richer and truly blessed by Taft's friendship.
Please know Carolyn and Bernice that we are holding you both close to our hearts and may all your beautiful memories of Taft bring you comfort and peace in the days ahead. Much love to you both and all the family. Lou&David

There are no words to describe this loss. Taft was someone that made you feel like you had known him for years and welcomed into his home. My heart goes out to Carolyn and Mrs. Mays, as well as all of his family. Thanks to Taft I found my way back to church.

I'm so sorry to hear this. He was one of my favorite patients at Dr. Qureshi's office. I loved when he came in the office. He could always put a smile on my face. My prayer goes out to his loved ones.
