Texanna Raines Koiner (1930 - 2016)

Texanna Koiner was born in Denison, Texas on January 6, 1930 to Charles and Nellie Raines. On September 23, she left this Earth to join her husband, Corbett Wayne Koiner, in heaven. Texanna was raised in Denison. She married Corbett on December 22, 1949. They later moved to Krum and raised their 5 children. Texanna worked for the Denton State School, Skillern's Drug Store and later retired from the Krum Post Office, where she was a rural route mail carrier. Texanna truly enjoyed the company of her loved ones. She loved celebrating all holidays, family get-togethers, and watching her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in their sporting events. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sisters: Betty Nix, Lela Mosley and brother, Franklin Raines. Left to cherish her memory are sons: Bill Koiner and wife LeeAnne of Krum, Gary Koiner and wife Anna of Denton, Lee (Bub) Koiner and wife Karen of Krum, Clint Koiner and wife Stephanie of Sanger. One daughter, Caryl Haddock and husband Tony of Krum. Sisters, Linda Troublefield of Krum and Texoma Heathcock of Oklahoma and brother, Bill Raines of Denison. Daughter in- law, Janene Koiner of Krum. Ten Grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons: Kevin Koiner, Kristopher Koiner, Michael Koiner, Cody Cassity, Garrett Koiner, David Shertz, Michael Phillips and Robbie Burgess.

Arrangements are under the direction of Denton Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday September 27, 2016 from 5pm -7 p.m. at Denton Funeral Home. Services will be held at the Denton Funeral Home on September 28, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Denton Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Krum Jackson Cemetery in Krum.
