I grew up with the Coven family. Dale and I were like brothers and Al was a second father to me. How he put up with all our antics I'll never know. He was a roll model that all kids should be lucky enough to have. He & my father, Lloyd, seemed to always have the time to spend with dale and I. We wouldn't be the men we are without their guidance. It would be a better world if all men were to live their lives like Al did. Nothing but great memories!!!!!!

Hard to say good-bye to such a wonderful person. I have some wonderful memories that I will cherish forever. I loved dancing with Al at the Christmas parties. It was always something I looked forward to. Rest in peace.

I met Al one time at a party at Traci and Mike's home for their daughter Mikhayla's 16th birthday. He was a joy and an inspiration to hear his stories. A true gentleman. He wanted to do what everyone else was doing including climbing the stairs with his cane.
