David Darnell Obituary

David Howard Darnell, 70, of Denver and Buena Vista, BCS, Mexico, died at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, on Oct. 25, 2018. He was a loving father, husband, brother and friend. He is survived by his wife, Arcelia Guadalupe Carrillo Agundez of Buena Vista; daughter Jennipher Rose of Denver; brother Paul of Truth or Consequences, N.M.; and sisters Betty Mayerchak of Aledo, Texas, Linda (Fred) Scarbrough of Aurora, Dianne (Frank) Morrison of Fort Worth, Texas, and Debbie (Kenneth) Cooper of Ponchatoula, La. He was predeceased by his first wife, Patricia (Hill) Darnell; his mother, Grace L.; and father, Howard Y. Darnell. He was born on June 10, 1948, in Cumming, Ga., graduated from TCU and was a first lieutenant in the Army Airborne Ranger Infantry. He owned U.S. Tech in Cherry Creek. A memorial will be held on Jan. 11 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Denver. Donations may be made to Wounded Warrior.
